The Wolcott Land Conservation Trust will hold their 4th annual National Trails Day hike in the Finch Brook Preserve on Saturday, June 7, at 10:00 AM. A 2.5-mile walk across the Finch Brook Trail, which begins and ends at the cul-de-sac on Barbara Drive in Wolcott, will be led by WLCT board members Tom Tella, Judy Cowan, and Justin Coleman. We expect to complete the hike within two hours. Leashed dogs are welcome. Please bring water and appropriate footwear. Only severe weather will cancel.
National Trails Day is America’s “largest celebration of trails” and we are always excited to participate.
At more than 60 acres, Finch Brook Preserve is the largest expanse of woodlands owned by the Wolcott Land Conservation Trust. You can visit our Finch Brook Preserve page to learn more about its history and take a look at our trail map.
